Tony Stark is supposed to be a bright resourceful man, but you gotta choose which battles to fight. C'mon, it's Magneto! Master of Magnetism!
Some people said that Iron Man could get a non metallic suit, but then he would have to change his name and Plastic Man is already taken. Not that it would do any good for his self-esteem.
