What's Your Lantern Corps? - Poll Results

Eight Lantern Corps fought for your attention in a poll that featured all of their propaganda skills.  But since there can only be one winner, we already have its name.  It may come with little surprise to many of you, so, without further delay, these are the poll result:

If you read the color blind chart well, and your skills are greater than just comic book reading, you'll notice that there's only one winner:  The Green Lantern Corps!

Let us show you how xenophobic we are by portraying this image showcasing only the human GLs, plus Killowog (who's basically human at this point.)

We approached them to have their reactions to the poll results, but only G'Nort responded to our call.  He just said: "Woof!"  We shrugged and walked away.

Justice League Argentina presents

If you know your geography well, you will know that there's this big country in South America, rich in traditions and history, with a legacy that runs from music and soccer, covering many angles.  Of course, we're talking about Argentina and, as you must definitely know, they do have their own Justice League.  I guess at some point both the Blue Beetle and Booster Gold must have run into it at one moment or another.  Something must have gone wrong that it wasn't published in their magazine diaries--

Anyway, we give you the Justice League Argentina!

Jim Henson's Commemorative Week

This week has been a riot through the web.  It was called "Jim Henson's Commemorative Week" and it has been filled with memories bringing back his legacy, from "Sesame Street" to "the Muppet Show", "Fraggle Rock" and "The Dark Crystal".  Jim Henson was involved in many projects until he passed away on May 16, 1990, exactly 20 years ago.  He gave so much and it's time to remember him with all the caring he gave us.

On Facebook, fans started changing their profile images from their regular ones to those of the Muppet Show, filling your screen with Kermits, Miss Piggys, Animals and all of the fan favorite ones.  Both on Comics All Too Real's fan page and my personal account, videos, images and jokes were posted and I just had to grab the best of it and share it with you.  Here's what I liked the most:

Kermit and Miss Piggy get married,
from "The Muppets Take Manhattan" movie

Ode To Joy

Never Before and Never Again
from "The Muppet Movie"

The Muppet Show featuring Julie Andrews

More Julie Andrews
"I'm not afraid"

The original "Mana Mana"

"Mana Mana" Redux

And a fan favorite song
from "The Muppets Take Manhattan" movie
"The Rainbow Connection"

I hope you enjoyed this trip to the past as much as I did.

Star Wars Propaganda Poll - The Winner!

We ran an Empire vs. Alliance poll and the results are finally out.  The contestants didn't say much.  Well, Darth Vader did have a little say about the entire deal and we also caught him on candid camera.

So, finally, this is the final result.  If you didn't vote, you're partly responsible for Darth Vader's heart break.

What's Your Lantern Corps?

No, the Empire vs. Alliance poll isn't over yer, but we just had to throw the question.  If you had to choose today, which Lantern Corps would you pick?  There might be a truce right now, but we know for sure it won't last for long.

We found these fan-made posters at Matías Martin's Facebook page and we just had to share them.  They look great and are the perfect excuse to run a new poll.

Choose wisely, your life might depend on it.  This poll will last for a week.

The Empire or the Alliance? Choose now!

If you haven't noticed (or if you live under a rock) in a far far far far away galaxy there's a war going on.  It has been on for ages. We got the end first, and then the beginning. Little did make sense. And yet, both sides are recruiting. Make up your mind now.  The universe depends on your choice.  Which side will you choose? (The poll is at the end of the post.)
