Jim Henson's Commemorative Week

This week has been a riot through the web.  It was called "Jim Henson's Commemorative Week" and it has been filled with memories bringing back his legacy, from "Sesame Street" to "the Muppet Show", "Fraggle Rock" and "The Dark Crystal".  Jim Henson was involved in many projects until he passed away on May 16, 1990, exactly 20 years ago.  He gave so much and it's time to remember him with all the caring he gave us.

On Facebook, fans started changing their profile images from their regular ones to those of the Muppet Show, filling your screen with Kermits, Miss Piggys, Animals and all of the fan favorite ones.  Both on Comics All Too Real's fan page and my personal account, videos, images and jokes were posted and I just had to grab the best of it and share it with you.  Here's what I liked the most:

Kermit and Miss Piggy get married,
from "The Muppets Take Manhattan" movie

Ode To Joy

Never Before and Never Again
from "The Muppet Movie"

The Muppet Show featuring Julie Andrews

More Julie Andrews
"I'm not afraid"

The original "Mana Mana"

"Mana Mana" Redux

And a fan favorite song
from "The Muppets Take Manhattan" movie
"The Rainbow Connection"

I hope you enjoyed this trip to the past as much as I did.
